If you read the actual Bloomberg article and the Gizmodo post in it’s entirety, you can see clearly that nothing is explicitly illegal, only that Ed Colligan the then-CEO of Palm alleged that “it is likely illegal.” Gizmodo has titled their post to declare it is illegal and this is a classic example of the troubling distortion of the truth.
