This certainly will make 2009 Formula 1 much more exciting than merely a night race in Singapore. I hope former Honda finds a new BFF$ but this animation, as Gizmodo notes, is rightly badass. For non-car fans, this Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS), is supposed to be a technology demo so we get to see it in our passenger cars in a few years. I didn’t realize it was effectively a boost button, boost effect in F1 is way awesome.
