Email snoopers on corporate networks are sniffing to see if groups of employees are engaging in illicit behaviors but it also seems to be a bit intrusive with false-positives.
Right now we’re in a situation where anything in email is pretty much fair game, how long until everything typed is fair game?

I’m a bit surprised this wasn’t done before but it’s a smart move for Facebook to tap such a prominent member of the privacy advocacy community. This can also be seen as an indication of the growing maturity of social networking and the need for growing lobbiyst bodies to push Facebook’s agenda appropriately in DC and avoid Microsoftonian disasters.

The comments have a great running commentary about the Parents+Kids interaction on Facebook. Dad needs to re-connect with his alumni base, kids have to face the person who pays the bills and a careful discussion of privacy discussions persist.
